Campanile Prime Paris 19 - La Villette

The hotel is clean and easy to find. Close to two metro stations and with a nice relaxing area, bar, and restaurant. Most staff were lovely, and the bar man even let me try the wine before I chose. There is a water cooler in the bar that you can fill bottles from.

The hotel had very comfy beds, and they were made up every day without fail. The staff were very helpful with everything we needed, including opening the breakfats buffet an hour early on the morning Paris marathon so people could eat before the race. The location was great with a metro line 2 minutes walk away. There is a supermarket literally next door and plenty of bakeries and restaurants around, too. The restaurant was great, too. We ate there one night for the buffet and the quality of food was so good. Very reasonable pricing, too.

A nice affordable hotel in Paris, a bit further from the center but affordable for such a major city. The hotel is clean and has a cute lobby and restaurant downstairs. The rooms are nice and clean and the beds are comfortable. The rooms are small, but that's to be expected in Paris. There are a few grocery stores right next door as well as some bakeries a few steps away. The metro is also less than 3 minutes walk too. At night, the area isn't dangerous at all but slightly grungier than places in the center. I wouldn't worry about walking around at night but I'd be more aware of my surroundings. There are also some nice canals nearby to walk along. They are very busy on weekend nights.

The room and facilities was good, the bed was huge and very comfortable. Shower pressure was good although it can suddenly turn scalding hot quite quick!! Good blackout curtains. There is also a carefour and bakeries around the hotel which was good for breakfast/snacks. The metro 7 is only 5 mins walk from the hotel, and there is the blue line (stalingrad) which is about 20 mins walk. Journey to the city centre (think Eiffel tower or the Galleries) takes about 35 mins.

The girl at the reception was going above and beyond to help us with parking as their private carpark it has height restrictions of 1.9m . Our car had a roof box and bike racks behind it were essential to park in a safe location in Paris . So the staff took all the stress away by allowing us to park in theirs service area behind the gate by the entrance of the carpark! The rest of the stay was exceptional comfortable beds, tasty buffet , clean .
